What to include when reporting a problem

  • Your device and operating system version (for example iPhone 14, iOS 18).
  • The screen where the problem happens and what you tapped.
  • What you expected and what happened instead.
  • A screenshot or screen recording, if possible.
  • The email address on your account — so we can look it up. Never send your password.

Common questions

My step count stays at zero

Step counting uses your phone's built-in pedometer and needs the physical activity permission. Open the app, tap the step card and allow activity access, then reopen the app. On Android, check Settings → Apps → Fithab → Permissions → Physical activity. Devices without a step-counter sensor cannot report steps.

Can Fithab track heart rate?

Not yet. Heart rate support is planned for a future release and will be opt-in when it arrives.

I can't sign in or reset my password

Use "Forgot password" on the sign-in screen and check your spam folder for the reset email. If you signed up with Google, use the Google button rather than a password. Still stuck? Email us with the address you signed up with.

My data isn't syncing between devices

Make sure you're signed in to the same account on both devices and connected to the internet. Data recorded offline uploads the next time the app opens online. If a device still looks out of date after a minute, sign out and back in on that device.

How do I export or delete my data?

Open the app and go to your profile, then Privacy, where you can export a copy of your data or delete your account. You can also email us and we'll handle it within 30 days. Details of what we store and for how long are in the Privacy Policy.

The calories or macros for a food look wrong

Food details come from a public nutrition database and community-submitted entries can be inaccurate. You can edit any logged meal's values by hand. If a common item is consistently wrong, send us the name and barcode.

How do I manage my subscription?

If you subscribed inside the app, manage or cancel it from your profile. If you subscribed through Google Play or the App Store, manage it in that store's subscription settings. Refund questions for store purchases go through the store.

Is the AI coach medical advice?

No. The AI coach gives general fitness and nutrition suggestions that can be wrong. Talk to a doctor or dietitian before changing your training or diet, especially if you have a medical condition.

Feature requests

Ideas genuinely shape the roadmap. Email your suggestion, or use Feedback & Ideas in your profile inside the app to submit and vote on ideas from other users.
